This driving force stems directly from the passion and pioneering spirit of our founder, Oscar Myles, whose journey into the world of visual storytelling began at a remarkably young age. From his initial experiments with an iPad and a group of friends at the age of 7, Oscar quickly developed a deep fascination with the art of filmmaking.
By the age of 13, Oscar was already delving into animation, a process that significantly honed his ability to craft compelling narratives with the creation of several animated short films. His early films, created during his formative years, were instrumental in developing his distinctive approach to storytelling and building his technical skills. This foundation culminated in "No Time To Explain," a live-action film he made at just 15, which earned significant recognition, winning Best Youth Film at both Southern California Film Awards and the Northampton Film Festival while gaining many other awards and accolades at film festivals around the world. These experiences solidified his understanding of how to bring stories to life on screen.
This strong background in cinematic narrative, combined with Oscar's self-taught expertise in advanced CGI using industry-standard tools like Autodesk Maya, Houdini, and Unreal Engine, laid the ambitious groundwork for MY10Productions. The company embodies Oscar's unwavering commitment to transforming abstract concepts into unforgettable visual experiences.
